Why do i have a big ball in my ear?

well i have a huge ball in my ear its hard and firm i pinch it and it gets smaller then gets rite back big again i use to were earrings untill i saw white puss on my clear backs of my earring i think i didnt take them out fo like 2 months cause i was afraid cus i had bad experince with earrings so is it a keloid or cyst
