How come my Dad's weird about this subject?

I'm 16 and never ever had a boyfriend but when I met Tom Felton from Harry Potter, me and my mom were saying how sweet and cute he was and my Dad didn't congratulate me or anything and same thing when I mention how hot Johnny Depp is he just sighs and acts weird and even when he watches Glee with me sometimes I say how pretty one of the girls outfits are and he'd be like "Yeah, she's a great inspiration blah blah blah" and then if I say even the slightest thing like "Kurt's so cute! awwww my gosh!" he says "mmm" and doesn't speak and he's gay! I'm not perving on him like what's your problem.
