Recently pierced ear? Help!?

I recently got my left ear pierced at a tattoo shop, it has been about 10 days since it was pierced. I am going to a friends bay house and we will be water skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and tubing. I am afraid that my earring could possibly come out. It is titanium (I think), and it is a barbell, it screws on, and it is just a tiny circle. Should I cover the earring with a band-aid to prevent it from coming off during the activities, or should I just let it be (I know it cannot be taken out because it hasn't been 6 weeks.)? I have been swimming with it multiple times and it hasn't fallen off, I am just worried it could fall out after flying out of a tube which is being pulled behind a jet ski or boat. Could I cover it with something other than a band-aid? Please help!
