Getting My Ears Pierced at Clair's, Please Help?

I am hoping to get my ears pierced at Clair's. Is it a good idea or no? Also, how much is it if I buy a $24.50 pair of starter earrings, how much would the price be? Plus, if you have had your ears pierced, I would like to hear your experience please. All information I can get would be awesome.
